13 Elements That Your Salesletter Must Consist

Internet Comments Off

Regardless of whether you’re doing online marketing or niche marketing, you need the right components on your salesletter like guarantee, sub-headline and so on to improve your immediate conversion.

Here are 13 elements of a salesletter to get flood of sales…

1. Headline: Get your readers attention immediately.

And, to get their attention, you should speak directly to your target audience. One of the ways to do this is to use a pre header, in smaller type, just above the main headline. It’s a bit like shouting out someone’s name in a crowded room. It gets their attention above the hubbub. It says: “To all copywriters . . This is for you – take a look!

It also gives you two shots at getting attention. Here’s an example of a pre heading: “If you haven’t got a million dollar yet . . . read this”

That then leads the reader into your main headline, which should carry the main benefit of the product, preferably with a time scale. For example, “How To Change Your Life In Seven Days As A Copywriter…”.

2. Immediately support the claim made in your headline (which should be as outrageous as the proof will allow), with a testimonial (preferred) or some other proof (such as cheques, bank statements, merchant account screenshots, et cetera)

3. You might have a sub heading, explaining the benefit in more details. After which you gently lead the reader into the body of your letter and build interest by establishing your credibility, showing them you are just like them and demonstrating you have the knowledge/ authority/experience to solve their problem. This is just about the only time you can talk about yourself, rather than the prospect’s problems and desires.

4. Define the problem, sympathies with the reader, and then lay on the agony of the problem in the most graphic terms possible.

5. Introduce the product as the perfect solution. Then, whet the reader’s desire with the product’s benefits and say what these benefits mean to them. For example: This CD player has a digital graphic equalizer (that’s the feature) that means you can adjust the sound profile (that’s the benefit bestowed by the feature) which means you can match the sound to the room, so your favourite music sounds great in any room of your house (that’s the higher level of benefit, demonstrating the product in a way the prospect can personally relate to).

6. Intensify the reader’s desire by showing them testimonials from satisfied customers, which show the product in action. This not only provides proof of your product’s effectiveness, it also provides Social Proof, which reassures the prospect other people have already bought and been satisfied.

7. List any additional items the reader will get as part of the basic package (excluding any time-sensitive bonuses you’re keeping for later). Also plant a scarcity element into the conversation at this stage – or earlier. For example, there are only a certain number of this particular deluxe model available.

8. When the reader is reeling under the full impact of all what he’s going to get, point out that this package is so good they’ll naturally understand that it’s not going to be cheap. Then build further perceived value in the mind of the reader by comparing the cost of some alternative high price solution, like a personal consultation and so on.

Then reveal the price, which will be minimized by comparison with the high price the reader has been made to focus on. Always include a reason why you can offer this product so cheaply, whilst retaining all its virtues. For example, it might be a digital product, so there is no shipping or product cost, so you are happy to pass on the savings to the prospect.

9. Enhance the attractiveness of the offer even more by listing the bonus items they can receive provided they order by a certain deadline. An alternative – and even more effective way is to offer the first X number of buyers the bonuses. This adds a further element of danger.

Why?

Because, with a fixed deadline, the prospect will “put off” ordering until five minutes before your bonus deadline – assuming they don’t forget all together. But by introducing the thought of a scarcity – and an unknown scarcity at that, you really light a fire under your prospect. After all, the more they want the product, the more they think the world and his dog is snapping up the last copy right now!

10. Introduce your guarantee. This should be as generous and as long – 90 days minimum- as you can make it. Try to make sure the customer actually comes out better than when they started. For example, allow them to keep the bonus items, even though they get a full refund. A good strong guarantee will go beyond simply reassuring the customer they aren’t taking a risk. It will also demonstrate your absolute faith in your product.

11. Ask for immediate action by stressing the scarcity factor you already planned back at item 7 and working on the prospect’s self interest by showing what they will lose if they don’t act quickly.

12. Always include a couple of Post Scripts. One restating the main benefit and the other telling the reader of another loss they will suffer if they don’t act right away or another benefit they will gain (peace of mind, once they’ve ordered the product or discovering the secrets five minutes from now – if it’s a downloadable product)

13. Lift letter. It’s always a good idea to include this as a last chance to persuade a wavering prospect. In conventional mail order this would be in the form of an envelope marked “Open only if you are still undecided”. On the internet, this would simply be a “Click here if you’re still undecided” button that takes the prospect to another page on the website.

Either way, the prospect would then see a new letter with all the testimonials listed with a statement to the effect that all these people had gone through the same dilemma as the reader is now doing. But all the people who wrote these testimonials finally ordered the products and were very pleased they did – as the reader will also be delighted . . . It’s also a good idea to restate the guarantee and list the bonuses that will be lost if the reader doesn’t order right away.

It’s sterling and proven rule of getting the customer to take action that they are more motivated by the thought of what they will lose rather than by what they will gain. Forbidden fruit, I suppose.

Coming Up With Idea For Your Article

Internet Comments Off

Have you got stuck with thinking of what to write for your niche? This article will give you the quick and simple way to overcome this…

Let’s say you’re doing niche marketing and you’ve identify your niche as ‘fix relationship problem’. Now you want to create some content to generate traffic from the search engines, social websites, etc.

Here’s how to get the article’s body content — go to Yahoo Answers and search for variations of your keyword. This will tell you what problems people are having and what kind of solutions are being given to them.

If you pay really close attention, you will pick up a couple great titles for articles and a list of different things that you can write about.

Let’s say your niche is “fix relationship problem” — what we are going to do right now is head on over to http://answers.yahoo.com and type in a variation of our keyword, for now we will stick with “relationship problem”.

One of the first threads I see is:

answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar492YbXt0SqNty7VUZaxmQjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=1006060207896

Just from the title of the post alone, I can come up with a couple of article titles right off the top of my head.

*How To Tell If Your Love Partner Is Ready

*5 Steps To Start A Serious Relationship

*How To Express Your Feeling To Your Love Partner

Do you see what I am doing here?

You see, internet marketing online is easy when you know the trick.

I am letting other people who are having problems in this area of their life determine what my content is going to be so that there is not a whole lot of guess work. I do not have to wonder whether or not my content is something that people will want to read. People are already telling me that they are searching for this type of information to help them in their lives and their relationships.

Let’s take a look at the next question and do the same thing. Even though this might seem repetitious on my part, I want to be absolutely certain that by the time you are done reading this technique you will be able to put it aside and carry all of these steps out on your own easily and with confidence that you are doing it correctly.

Now that we have a couple article titles, the next thing we have to do is come up with content for the articles. This is what I like to use Google and my own life experiences for.

You can also read other articles that are in circulation and put your own spin on things. I know that when I read almost any article, when I am done, I have ideas for how I could expand that topic in three different directions. This does take a little bit of creativity on your part, but the more you do it, the easier it will come to you.

We now know how to come up with content to write about, so it is time to put it into action.

Marketing Tips To Make Your Business Successful

Online Business, Promotion and Marketing Comments Off

In the recent times it is not a difficult job to set up a new venture but what is tough is to get it the right kind of visibility and separate space to make it a profitable venture. But this field of marketing too has evolved over a period of time and old and conventional ways of marketing have been effectively replaced since the advent of the internet. The modern avenues of marketing are not only more workable but at the same time are hassle free .

There are a number of ways to gather attention from prospects. You could begin with creating web properties for your business. This might be in the form of a blog or a website. You should stress on submitting content on your website that relates to your defined area. It might be technology or health related, but the main thing which you need to remember is to educate your audience rather than give them the hard sell. Once you have launched your own website and have it working you can begin your promotional campaign. Write and submit articles to article directories, submit your RSS feeds, bookmark your pages, and submit comments on authority blogs that pertain to your niche market.

The next best step should make you create a campaign using websites like Squidoo, Ning, Multiply, and Wetpaint and link these back to your website. The material submitted here should ideally be educative and informative. The idea of using bookmarks and submitting RSS feeds is also a very good one in order to correctly market your business by means of your website. Do Your KEYWORD Research Correctly or Face an Uphill Struggle

Online Business, Promotion and Marketing Comments Off

When it comes to online business, keyword research is probably the most important part of your job when you’re setting out to design and construct a website. It really doesn’t matter what you’ve planned for the website, assuming that you do indeed have something planned for it, because if you want your website to be seen by others in any meaningful number, then you’ll need to pay particular attention to this task.

In simple terms, a keyword is a single word or a few words put together into a phrase which describe something in particular. Hence, your keyword could be “dogs” or something more complex, such as “yellow Labrador retrievers”. This latter phrase is known as a long tail keyword, or in other words, a more detailed description of a simpler term. The real success of any website is primarily due to the relevance of a specific keyword or set of keywords - even if the administrator of the website doesn’t realize it! In most circumstances, your chosen keywords should directly relate to the nature and purpose of your website.

It goes without saying, that if you’re going to get involved with website development for a meaningful purpose, maybe as a commercial entity, then you’ll need to plan its construction carefully. Part of this construction involves the correct selection of keywords appropriate to your subject, topic or niche. Once these keywords have been correctly selected you should construct your website accordingly, and in a fairly regimented fashion. This is commonly known as search engine optimisation, as it’s the method by which you can ensure that everyone else - across the world, can find your site if they’re interested in what you’re discussing, promoting or selling.

Keyword research is the cornerstone of this task. There are a number of different trains of thought, but in this highly competitive world market of ours, you need to ensure that your chosen keywords are not only appropriate, but are realistic too. As you will be trying to “rank” for your keywords (or end up as high as you possibly can within the ubiquitous search engine rankings of sites relevant to your niche), you must make sure that you have a good chance of doing so, firstly, and then secondly orchestrate your approach to give yourself the best chance possible.

One of the most common mistakes that most individuals (including some so-called SEO experts) make is to misinterpret the actual supply and demand for your chosen keywords.

Demand: there are many tools, some more complex and more costly than others, which determine the demand for your keyword or long-tail keyword. In simple terms, how many people are searching for information directly related to your keywords. Google and others have a way of measuring the number of times that someone will search their engines for that exact keyword. They will supply you with figures which show, on a monthly basis and broken down into geographical territories if you wish, the number of times someone entered that phrase into the search box. This will give you a good idea of what the actual “demand” for information about your keyword is.

Supply: if you go to Google’s search page and enter your keyword in the search box, you’ll come up with a number of sites which Google considers to be relevant to that phrase. In some cases this can run into the many, many millions. If your keyword is – and it probably will be, a long tail, you should know that this initial supply figure is based on a broad analysis, and in order to get a realistic return on the number of relevant sites, you’ll need to enter your keyword in quotes “”. By doing this you’ll see that the number of sites returned is significantly lower, this being a good indication of the “supply” for that keyword. The websites returned in this way will be your competitors.

As you’ll quickly see from conducting this exercise, a very broad keyword – such as “dog”, has a very high demand and a very high supply. Don’t be tempted to run after this demand as the chances of ranking highly for this keyword are not that good. Generally speaking - the higher the demand, the higher the existing supply. However, part of the skill of keyword research is in developing long tail keywords that more accurately describe your particular niche. For example, if we research “yellow Labrador retrievers”, we can see that there is a reasonable amount of demand – somewhere in the region of 3000 searches per month for that term, and a low amount of supply – less than 1000 competing sites. In this example, we would likely include this exact keyword in our campaign.

This is just an overview into keyword research, which should be an integral part of your plan to develop your business. The correct implementation of chosen keywords is an entirely different issue, but you must make sure that your keyword research is correctly founded and conducted before you move on.

How to Optimise Your Website for Article Marketing

Web Development Comments Off

Article marketing has long been viewed as one of the best strategies for online business. This means of marketing can help develop reputation, improve SEO, and also provide back links to your website for the article readers - who in some instances, might well represent partially qualified leads. The World Wide Web thrives on high quality information, and if you’re willing to invest the effort, professionally written articles could easily become your organisation’s primary contribution. The main search engines place a very high value on excellent articles, and because of this it’s crucial that you only write focused and well-written material for your business endeavours.

As soon as you’ve put together a comprehensive list of acceptable keywords for your particular niche, you should then plan out and write your articles according to these requirements. Invest the necessary time to write truly informative pieces which include your keywords, and then ensure that they’re distributed to an array of top notch article directories and blogs across the Internet. Anchor text-based hyperlinks within the article resource boxes should point back to the landing pages, as specified, on your website.

You should remember that you need to focus on your website development, as well as your article composition and distribution, as this is equally important within the overall picture. Your website must be adequately optimised to enable you to get the most out of any article marketing campaign, and to ensure this you should concentrate on several areas:

1. Don’t ever forget that the main reason why people visit your webpage is because they’re looking for information. There’s no need to invest too much time and effort on high-tech presentation, detailed graphics or brilliant flash animation, if these things in any way detract from the actual message your trying to convey.

2. The layout of your site must be easy to understand and navigate. Visitors must be able to progress from point to point or page to page without any confusion and there should be a logical progression when it comes to presentation of information.

3. In a Perfect World, it’s best to create a separate page for each and every keyword that you’re focussing on in your article marketing campaigns. In this way, the search engines will match the keyword contained in your article’s anchor link with the keyword optimised on each page.

4. Ensure that the content of the page is directly related to the content of the article. Remember, that the reader of the article is being encouraged to visit this webpage by the content of the article itself. He or she should be able to continue this process of discovery, which may be leading them further into your sales funnel!

5. To make sure that the search engines recognise the landing page you have specified as relevant, you should make sure that you:

* Put the exact keywords in the title of your page, as well as in the description.

* Repeat the keywords in the body of the content on the page. It is suggested that you do this to no more than a density of 1%, i.e. 5 times within 500 words of content, so that it appears natural.

* The H1 tag is very important and the keywords should appear here too.

* Specify the keyword and related keywords (sometimes known as secondary keywords) within your meta-data keywords tag.

6. There is increasing evidence that Google is placing a lot of emphasis on synonism and latent semantic indexing. This means that they will be looking for the existence of certain words and phrases within your content, relating back to their large databases of information, so they can accurately judge whether your content is indeed relevant to your primary keywords.

As you roll out your article marketing campaign, there’s a lot to concentrate on. Make the most of each article that you compose and distribute by ensuring that every element of your campaign is optimised. To make sure that you do not miss any of these crucial steps, consider using a Virtual Assistant to make the most of your initiative.

What does “GVO” stand for?

“GVO” stands for Global Virtual Opportunities. The company was formerly known as Kiosk and is now being rebranded.

  • A complete video marketing system
  • Video Production Tools

In addition, GVO offers several more features, tools, and services which can be used by webmasters.

GVO services are specifically targeted to service Internet Marketers. This is one reason why many marketers find it to be the perfect service for them – because the company is run by and for Internet Marketers, and understands the needs of Internet Marketers.

GVO currently hosts some of the most well known and successful online marketers in the world, including Mike Filsaime, Stephan Pierce, Michael Cheney, Frank Raumbauskas, Tellman Knudson, Todd Gross, Frank Bauer, Frank Sousa & Mike Koenigs, Trey Smith, Jeff Johnson, and Frank Kern.

Another thing that has people excited about GVO is the income opportunity. When you refer others to the program, you earn a commission on their payments, and their referral’s payments, down to 10-levels deep. That in itself is nothing new to affiliate marketers.

There is more to it however. GVO has an innovative referral system so that one can be paid for referrals, even if one is not promoting it at all. This sounds a bit strange but there it is – and it has to do with something called “spillover.”

This is one of the reasons why you will find people encouraging you to join as soon as possible. GVO is still in prelaunch, and the sooner you get involved, the more spillover you are likely to receive.

Over the next couple of weeks, and when GVO launches in mid-September, many top well-known marketers are likely to be promoting GVO, and if you join early, you have the best chance of benefiting not only from your own marketing efforts, but others’ as well.

If you don’t have time to investigate this thoroughly at the moment, I suggest you sign up for a $1.00 trial. You will thus lock your position in early, and still have plenty of time to look it over and see if it is right for you.

Syndicate Kahuna: An Exceptional Article Distribution Service

Online Business, Promotion and Marketing Comments Off

Syndicate Kahuna is a one of the most powerful ways of maximising the impact of your web presence across the entire World Wide Web. It has long been recognized that blog content, when presented and formatted in certain ways, is viewed by the major search engines as an authoritative source of information. Hence, focused and well produced blogs are likely to be referred to by the search engines when people look for related terms on the Internet.

Jason Potash and the people at Syndicate Kahuna have unveiled a strategy that allows you to syndicate your content to well respected blogs within a network that they have themselves compiled.

If you have your own blog, or if you are pursuing any kind of online business, you will already be well-aware of the extraordinary power potential of information, and you will be doing your best to keep your sites updated with targeted and focused material, articles, videos and photographs. While there are quite a few services available which will help you to “bookmark” your blogs, thereby informing interested individuals of the existence of your recently posted content, Syndicate Kahuna goes so much further than this. This amazing service will automatically syndicate your quality content to a maximum of 90 blogs within a target specific category, out of around 8,000 highly-respected blogs within their own extensive network.

Within these many thousands of high quality blogs, your approved posts will be automatically published together with up to 3 “Back Links” to your site on each one, and as these posts are likely being posted on affinity sites - in other words by keyword match with the category you’ve chosen, then these back links will be viewed as having additional authority by the primary search engines, greatly helping you to increase your rankings quickly and sustainably.

Syndicate Kahuna is all about automation, and its syndication engine will distribute your content, but while doing so it always ensures that it is sent out as a trickle rather than as a blast. When building links it is best to do so gradually, and this service will ensure that your posts are distributed over a period of time, so all you need to do is fill out a few web forms and then the rest will be taken care of for you.

To ensure that your posts have even more power, not only does the system rotate between blogs giving you a more natural distribution, but you can also choose to add content variations using their built in tools, to ensure that things like headings or titles are varied too.

As an added bonus, Syndicate Kahuna has introduced a “Web 2.0 Co-Op” system, which adds considerable power to their already phenomenal system. As their community includes 1,300 or more webmasters like you, they have created a system where the other members are prompted to comment on your selected blogs, bookmark some of your posts and engage in the power of social marketing for you. This reciprocal process is cutting-edge, and it’s currently offered as a special add-on to Syndicate Kahuna members.

As hundreds of new websites appear every day, it makes sense to use powerful marketing tools along with cutting-edge website development to make sure that you are as visible as you can be. Syndicate Kahuna should be a fundamental tool in your arsenal.

Know the menaing of Internet Marketing with the help of Commission Blueprint

Web Development Comments Off

What Is The Definition Of Internet Marketing?

A lot of things have been said about internet marketing of products from past several years but what do you actually mean by internet marketing?
Don’t take it to be as easy as just designing a website and sending it as an email to some of the people?
If you think that way, it is incorrect. There is no such fix definition about Internet Marketing but there are a few things that Internet Marketing comprises of.The first and the foremost thing is it is not compulsory for you to have a website of your own for internet marketing.Certainly, having a website will help you to get more customers. However, you can send out emails, participate in message board discussions, and even join chat rooms to market your products and services without ever making a website. When it comes to Internet Marketing, you have to stay away from spam mails.

Well, spamming messages and emails, anyway (there are other types that are somewhat useful).Yes, emailing people about your products is a good marketing idea, but if the recipient doesn’t want to know about what you have to offer, he or she will simply mark your email as spam.Ensure that you email only to those that are interested in your offerings.

Commission Blueprint, can be very helpful to know about online marketing.

Therefore what do you mean by good spam?
It actually depends on your approach. One popular practice of getting your site out there is to read people’s blogs and post comments, then add your site link in either the name area or at the end of your post. This method cannot be regarded as spamming as you are just giving a response to what the bloggers are saying. These links will help you with online marketing to a great extent, learn this with Commission Blueprint Review. You might argue that you are writing a comment just to advertise your site’s link so even this should be regarded as spam.

Then, is spam considered while defining internet marketing?
But then again it is very difficult to comment. There is no use in sending emails to a large mass of people and it will not do any good to your business but by posting on blogs and forums, you are attracting people to your site. You can also use networking sites like MySpace and Facebook for Internet Marketing. If you open a community or a profile of your business on these sites, it can attract many customers to your website. There is no point in adding people randomly in your friend’s list and this is not any different from spamming.Your only objective while doing this is to get some mileage out of advertising online without being of trouble to anybody.

That’s where internet marketing is really different from offline marketing. One can easily overlook billboards, flyers and newspaper ads but not pop-ups, spam mails and plenty of myspace friend requests.Basically, when it comes to online marketing, a good rule to remember is that if you wouldn’t want to see it, don’t send or post it.Say for instance if you have been into selling products that are related to pets then it is certain that you should not be sending a friend request to a person who hates pets.“Don’t spam” is arguably the best way to define Internet Marketing.

Should I Create A New Website For My Online Business?

Blogs, RSS and Podcasting Comments Off

People everywhere always want to follow the latest trends, be it fashion, sports, website development or just about anything else. Websites are now an absolute necessity for anyone who’s going after a piece of an online business enterprise. Businesses, individuals, and even kids have built websites for their respective purposes, sometimes for profit, sometimes for entertainment.

What you really need to consider, however, before actually building a website, are the points which have to be reviewed before starting, such as the total of the expenses which will be involved, like the build itself, the ongoing maintenance, alterations, the web hosting etc.

First of all, when it comes to the expenses, we should always try to find an affordable host, without spending too much or too little. An overly cheap host doesn’t exactly make you think of a credible or reliable company, but it’s still a smart move to look around for a bargain. Also, when it comes to server/web hosting reliability, there are quite a few instances where web hosts simply haven’t supplied the services they’d initially promised their customers, and a surprising number have even closed down completely without even a word. Keep that in mind, because if you’d like a long-lasting website, reliability should be the first thing you look for in a provider.

The next point, would hiring someone who specialises in website development be affordable? Is this the ideal choice? For really basic websites, there’s nothing wrong with trying to learn a bit of basic coding, or even use a specialised program like Dreamweaver, as it’s really not too tough in most cases. However, when it comes to more complex websites, and when you want it to perform to the highest of standards, hiring professional help would usually be the best way forward. Not just in terms of design, but for security as well, as these are key factors in any quality website. If the website also acts as a direct portal for your online businesses, security would certainly be an issue which should be resolved.

When creating a design, always select matching colours. A fairly good example of a matching colour theme would be a dark background, with very clear words and complementing designs. With a grey theme, avoid mixing too many bright colours into such a design. Never mix two extremely different colours, such as purple and bright yellow. Of course, it all depends on the intended purpose of the website, but colours such as these, when combined, are simply too striking for someone who wants to appear professional.

Themes should always suit the organisation or rather, the business. If your website is going to be made to cater to online business affiliate sales, it would be prudent to stick to that particular niche, rather than to go with a different theme, such as online gaming.

In most cases, a font type should be used in accordance with the level of formality of the website in question. A basic font would suffice in the majority of instances. Exceptional cases such as graphic design and artistic sites may want to utilise elaborate designs and fonts. Of course, such detail should only be attempted if you know exactly what you’re doing.

Finally, it’s essential to consider our visitors, try to see what way they see - from their perspective. The file sizes and overall resolutions shouldn’t be too big in terms of size. This is to provide maximum compatibility and minimum load time while catering to our visitor’s needs.

So, having given some thought to the things which we need to do before constructing a website, the all-important question is do we actually need one? If developing a website would boost sales or promote something beneficial, then by all means, move forward and make it happen. As always, planning is the key to success in every online business enterprise.
